Fund Grant Request Guidelines
The Greater Delafield Community Fund will accept grant requests from qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Discretionary funds used to support grants are currently limited. Only requests from organizations serving the people of the greater Delafield area will be considered. Grants will support programs in the following broad program areas:
- Arts and Culture
- Community Development
- Health and Human Services
- Education
- Environment and Conservation
- Historic Preservation
The Foundation will give preference to proposals and programs that respond to pressing needs within Waukesha County and that enhance the quality of life for the people of the greater Delafield area.
How to Apply for a Grant
The grant application process involves filling out the “Allocations Information Form.” The form should include the following:
- Organization name
- Contact Information
- The specified amount of funding requested
- A description of your organization
- If applicable, how many Delafield area people did you serve last year
- What services does your organization provide to the Delafield Area
- From whom do you receive funds
- What is your annual budget
- What program(s) would you like us to fund and what is its purpose
- Who is in charge of your agency’s finances
- Attach evidence of your non-profit and/or tax-exempt status
- Enclose a list of your board of directors
The Greater Delafield Community Fund will respond in writing to each application. Applications must be submitted by March 1st.

The Greater Delafield Community Fund presented $1,000 to SummerStage toward their “Raise the Roof Campaign”.
